ATTENTION TO ALL /POL/ EXPATS HERE ON /TRASH/- if there even are any.As many of you may know, we have been under siege by newfags and redditors ever since the US election cylce began heating up around mid-to-late September, and now we are flush with off-topic threads, "redpill me on X" threads, and, of course, the "/POL/ BTFO / Well /pol/? / It really makes you think... / X is right you know / Hmmm.." bait threads.
One of the main faucets of all these shitters is most likely the Trump General, which is a magnet for cancer and shitposting- a containment for redditry and newfaggotry.
We also need to cut down on constant shitposting and memery (e.g. POO in LOO, Angloposting, post chains in general) a good example of which would be in places such as, or course, Trump Generals. We don't want this cancer to spread to the rest of /pol/- we don't want to become /tv/ 2.0.
Some basic steps to lessening the constant cancer that everyone should employ:
>-Not posting in bait/off-topic threads
>-Reporting all off-topic/bait threads
>-Report all /b/-tier/off-topic posts
>-Not responding to "redpill me/tell me/teach me" threads with anything more than "lurk more" whilst using sage to not bump thread
Why here on /trash/? If this thread were on /pol/, it would be nuked by whiny newfags spamming and it's also easier to discuss things on slower board. /trash/ fit fairly well since it plays the roll of an off-topic board- a "secret" /b/ of sorts.
